We want to highlight the Zebra, Turtles, Ducks and Explorer classrooms for being chosen for the 3-hour observations as part of the rating. Everyone did an amazing job and we are so proud of our team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YoungStar is a five-star quality rating system for child care providers based on education, learning environment, business methods, and practices around child health and well-being. Through this rating system, the state is addressing several key issues in Wisconsin&#8217;s child care system. The rating system will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Improve the overall quality of child care<\/li><li>Create a clear, understandable tool to help parents choose quality child care<\/li><li>Create incentives for providers to improve services, particularly for low-income children<\/li><li>Link the quality of child care providers to Wisconsin Shares subsidy amounts<\/li><li>Include a YoungStar Quality Adjustment to recognize the highest levels of quality<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For further information about <a href=\"https:\/\/dcf.wisconsin.gov\/youngstar\">YoungStar<\/a> please follow this link to the DCF page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apple Tree Connections is proud to have been awarded a 5 Star Rating for 2022!
